So I got lazy and stopped posting. Someone, I'm not going to say whom but they know whom they are kept asking me where my new post. I'm not sure what has happened over the last 8 months, but I'll try to remember what has occurred. Within the first 5 jobs to level I knew then that I wanted all my jobs at 75, because I like to be adaptable to situations. So coming up on six years, I have completed my goal... but then only to be confronted by the 5 new jobs they released. But I have completed the initial 15 jobs on FFXI when I joined the game.

October

Back in the summer of 2008 I was continuing my quest to get as many 75 jobs as I could. During the summer I was getting close enough to obtaining that blue caap. But I slowed down a bit in August, didn't feel much like playing for the month. Anyways, through the summer my friend was getting close to getting his maat's cap, so I kept pushing him to get his. He got his a month earlier than mine, after that I thought that I should get off my butt and get mine as well. So after the long exp grind, I do infact have a Maat's Cap.

I didn't think much of the Maat's Cap itself. I enjoy the title that you got more, and that was my main goal. Though the cap is very usefull and looks great on me :P Besides (whm, sam, blm, brd, pld, drg, drk) I fought Maat shortly after I hit 75.

November

Wish I could remeber when I got my jobs to 75. My leveling order goes: WHM RDM MNK THF RNG SMN WAR BST NIN SAM BLM BRD PLD DRG DRK. What is puzzling me is "what jobs did I have to finish leveling to 75 now that I put Maat in his place?" Though I do believe that I got.... actually never mind because I just remembered what happened and when. Anyways, so November came and I believe that I decided to... no wait I remember what I did lol. This is what I get for not posting month by month, trying to remember what I've done.

After defeated Maat and obtained by caap, 75 SAM was my newest job to 75. I wanted to merit and I wanted a Hagun but I didn't have enough money for it. I asked one of my good friends (Yarly) to buy me a Hagun in exchange for me to level his thief from level 57 to 75. He accepted my offer so what I did to get him through those levels was just for him to afk in my merit pts. It worked well, I could of finished it in faster time but my bard (Morejuiceplease) lives in EST and I get off work usually late, so we didn't have enough time to do as long as parties that I would of liked to. Sometimes I would have Cahlista come and pull for me but she doesn't really enjoy being on her bard :P

So pretty much November schedule was: Dynamis (Sunday afternoon), Nyzul climb to 100 (Sunday morning), Assaults (Wednesday night), Salvage (Tuesday), merit pl (whenever free).

December

December was pretty much the same as November. I've done the same events but when Morejuiceplease or Cahlista wasn't available I would take the time to level my black mage (which was 70 ). During this month, we had (I think) 2-3 other black mages that were leveling (Deagol and Khayre). They were still going through the levels but they were able to do it so much faster than I was doing it. By the end of the month we all were 75 black mages.

One of my fond memories of this month is that and both Christmas eve and New Years eve, the linkshell and I celebrated this moment together. Haha, how sad that on both days others and myself spend the whole day being online with other people that were online. Oh well, like I have anything else to do, kek.

January

I think around this time, I started to level my bard. Believe that I stopped at 66 and fought Maat. I enjoyed leveling bard but after awhile it got old and then people tried to tell me how to play my job such and such. So after some point I was done with trying to get random pick up parties. Instead I just made my merit party and took a dd and a healer and leveled my bard that way.

I had this one party and how they were treating me was terrible. We were doing Greater Colibri and they were either complaining about songs or pulling slow or something. But it just got to the point where they wanted to tell me how to play the job/game and they weren't even playing the game theirselves. Instead they were sitting there afk with their weapon out and not swinging. I quickly got tired of their crap and I instantly put on my Maat's Cap, said goodbye, /pcmd leave, Myinre uses Maat's Cap and then I went afk for the rest of the day cause of the mood they put me in.

July

For the first 10 days, I will be gone on vacation to wonderful OHIO to see my SUPER BEST FRIEND, Khayre. I'm so excited. Not sure what I will be doing for the 10 days that I will be gone but I'm looking forward to it! Think that we are going to make a trip over the boarder to Canada to see Niagara Falls. I went there as a kid so it would be great to see it again after all these years. I am almost ready to go but I'm always worried that I'm forgetting something :3

Yeah, I know. I'm missing Feburary through June. That's because I don't remember much that has happened through those months. I have to look through my screenshots to help me remember. But I did get sea, got Jib sea as well. I've been in a salvage group(s) with my linkshell; since around September; and we were able to obtain or finish the following pieces: Ares Body, Ares Hands, Ares Legs, Morrigan Head, Morrigan Body (2), Morrigan Hands (2), Morrigan Legs, Marduk Head, Marduk Body (2), Marduk Legs, Usukane Head, Usukane Legs, Usukane Feet, Skadi Head, Skadi Body (*though that is what I remember when I went to the runs. Since there were 2-3 different groups or variations with characters). Lots of limbus. Great Dynamis pieces of my linkshell. Nyzul Completed. Nyzul Weapons 19/20. Unlocked Nyzul Weapons 14/15. Sky/Sea/ZNMs/ISNMs. LOLRelapse. But I will write out more as soon as I go through the screenshots.

Even though I'm a late bloomer to Final Fantasy I still enjoy all the titles and playing other rpg's. This is Myinre's story...

It started way back in November of 2003. I remember the game came out and I wasn't really interested in it because it was an MMORPG. My mom was doing any shopping around town and asked me if I wanted anything (since my birthday was coming up). I have only looked briefly into ffxi but since it was still a Final Fantasy game I told her to go buy it and I would try it out (I still lived at home and didn't have any bills so I could handle a MMORPG). When she came home she brought me the game and guide for it. The game was recently new to NA but out for the JP for about a year.

For the next couples of months I would study that book about what race I wanted to be and which job I wanted to play. I originally wanted to become a mithra dark knight/thief because logically I could kill things and get drops to increase my gil. I began the game but was too lazy to make a name as I went through the options. I took different parts of names of which I liked and created a new name, which is how I ended up with a mithra named My-in-re. I still didn't know what to do or what job I wanted to play, so I started to do a lot of quests. While at school I would look up quests off allakhazam, write them down, and when I get home, I looked them up to see how I could complete them. Around this time I made my first mule, tarutaru named Myinro (I was in a hurry and I'm bad with names so I just changed my name with a different letter at the end).

I don't remember how but I met my first friend online; male hume, Fizzymitsu. I believe that we were shouting and competiting to sell our crystals (from our bazaar) that we have farmed. We had common interested and started playing with each other. I had a friend from work that played a lot of video games and even some MMORPGs. After about 1~3 months of asking him to try out the game. Finally he gave in and joined. He said that he wanted to become an elvaan Samurai, that he did, his name was Sarys. We created a linkshell together and started to do random stuff together. At some point we invited some random 12? y/o in the shell by the name of Reeve. He usually just tagged along with us. Reeve ended up quiting twice and restarted on another server under MY name. Strange...

At this point I didn't know what to do and my initial jobs were between level 10~15. But since Fizzymitsu and Sarys was around I decided that I will assist them and play as a white mage. During the off times of white mage I would also play thief at the same time. I made some other friends through my early leveling days and had 4~5 linkshells, though I don't remember what those linkshells were called I do recall a couple of people's name that I've played with, including Carpedm, Halvuboar, Zaraya, and Eggplantwizard.

I got pretty lucky on recieving my sub jobs items in Valkurm (my party was able to get them for me). I eventually got to level 30 white mage and I started to quest to unlock all of the jobs that were available. I was not able to get the jobs unlocked alone. I had help from a JP named Agle. While I was unlocking the rest of my jobs, Sarys and Fizzymitsu partied together and eventually formed a static with some people that got them to 50+. It took me awhile to level up myself. I was playing at a slower pace.

At this time my linkshell, Riskbreakers (with Fizzymitsu and Sarys) was getting a little bigger. I eventually got up to 50 and begain my genkai. I was lucky for these drops as well, probably spend about a total of 1~2 hours getting the items. Around this time I was on my white mage and had a party in Garliage Citadel. I met a black mage by the name of Battra that gave me a linkpearl to a shell called "IronMaidenTroopers." This was the first or one of the first NA linkshells during the JP release and was very popular. IMT had a run going on for the genkei 2, so I joined them. It was 15 75's and 3 people that needed the quest. One of those people was a galka named Decar.

During the first two years of my gaming experienced I leveled all of the 15 jobs to 37 (usually leveling 4 to 6 jobs at a time in the same area). Eventually over two years I did finally get my first job to 75, white mage. I had other jobs that I have leveled but not that far past 40. My original linkshell Riskbreakers reformed as AkaiTsubasa (RedWings). IronMaidenTroopers also took half the members and formed an end-game linkshell named, SilentWinds.

AkaiTsubasa was one of the largest linkshells that I've had. We basicly had enough people and strength to make an end-game linkshell but it never made it that far. Most of the people from the shell ended up going to other end-game linkshells, such as TMNQ, SW, DH, CAE. After that shell broke we tried to reform as KuroiTsubasa (BlackWings). People left that linkshell for other ones as well. Eventually I stuck with IronMaidenTroopers.

I don't remember much of what has happened after that besides that. Before I decided to change my life and live on my own out in Las Vegas, NV, I wanted to hit 75 red mage. Within 2 weeks I went from 63->75 just in time before my move. After my move I started to go to school in the mornings and thenafter I would play more FFXI. In the first year that I lived out in Vegas on my own and going to school I was able to get 75 Monk, Ranger, Thief, Summoner, Warrior, and Beastmaster. (Before I moved, my friend; Jibrienne, quit and I kept her character going. Started at level 60 white mage but through bring her around with me doing random stuff I eventually got to 75.)

Overall I have been playing this FFXI for almost 5 years. I've done a lot and don't have an official end-game linkshell, such as DarkHearts, TheAfterLife, etc. Instead of played with smaller linkshells, such as TeamNub, PrideX, LegendsofRamuh, and MonstersInc. I also have been doing dynamis with TheInterlopers for about 2 years.

I've done a lot in this game but still seems to little at the same time. I've completed Zilart and ToAU. All my friends completed sea long ago and I keep missing out so I'm still trying to do that. I'm 10 San D'oria, 5 Windurst and 1 Bastok. I have 30+ pieces of relic AF from dynamis, 3 of which are belt items. I have a black belt, relic rdm hat. All these things but still I feel like I'm missing something or I still have a long way to go to gaining better? items.

Recently an old friend, "Cyrii" or "Jeffrey" came back to Ramuh after restarting on Ragnorok and started to do small end-game stuff with a linkshell called TheMithranArmyLS. They do sky, sea, limbus, salvage, ZNMs, assaults, etc. With the people that I've invited to IMT with me (Khayre and Morejuiceplease) I dragged them over to this linkshell. I was able to convince Duatha (when he was drunk) to reactivate his character.

That is basicly my FFXI life summarized over the years. I'm currently 12/15 for maat's cap. Just going to get one so people would stop asking me about it. I enjoy leveling and quests. But at the moment I don't really feel like completing the cap.

Some goals that I would like to complete are:
Maat's Cap.
Get Jibrienne (2nd character) capped merits for WHM.
Cap out merits for Myinre.
Get 75 RDM BRD BLM on Jibrienne.
Cap merits for Jibrienne's RDM, BRD, BLM.
Finish CoP (on both characters).
Finish ToAU (for Jibrienne).
Start doing assaults for Jibrienne.

So much to do, so little time.

Lately I've been busy with leveling. People always ask me if I have my Maat's cap because of how much I play and level. Now that my friend is near getting his cap, I've decided that I would get my cap before his. I would eventually would like to get all the jobs to 75. I love the idea of diversety. Previously I was playing dark knight and that was fun to play 60+. I retired it and now I am playing black mage. I'm only done with my current goal of 70 black mage. I just need about 20,000 more exp.

Funny how black mage has turned from being invited for magic bursting in parties to not invited at all and forced to solo. At least it's pretty easy to solo. Only thing is that it takes time to level, sometimes it feels like forever.

Since the last update early June, there's been a lot of things to do to keep people busy. I would like to do ZNMs but I don't have much help on doing them or people do them when I not around/aren't able to come. I would also like to finish the missions for Bastok and Windurst. Also I need to catch up on the WotG missions. I'm just waiting on a friend; Morejuiceplease, to get online a bit more. Also I need to do more merits... ugh the things to do in FFXI are endless for me.

Not bad, so it took me a week to get from 60 to 68 dark knight. Used 2 or 3 charges off the anniversary ring early 60s just to set my first goal of 63. Took awhile for me to get to 70 though. Level 68 through 69 was done all through campaign battles except first 5k exp I gained from an earlier party. I was expecting that ground strike would of done more damage but still doesn't seem that well. I've only tried it against imps so far so hopefully my next party (I'll party again for my buffer) we can fight something else and I can test what damage it really can do. I'm thinking about leveling to 71 and then stopping just to get dread spikes for when I go up against Maat. But then again I might ask Wololo if I could borrow his Kraken Club and just beat the crap out of Maat for an easy win. I fought Maat once before as a 70 dark knight hume for a friend of mine, was an easy fight for the most part even though I did miss to equip an item here and there.

Now that dark knight is over with now I can focus on my samurai duo and/or playing my black mage. Either or I hope the time passes so I can get my inventory space back from last months event.

While installing FFXI over 4 years ago, I was trying to decide which race and job that I wanted to be. I bought the Bradly Guide for FFXI (actually mom asked me if I wanted it cause it was a birthday present). I looked over it a lot and thought about what I wanted to do. When it came down to it, I wanted to be a mithra because of that stats balance and the dex (for critical hits). 15 jobs but I had to pick one (for now, kek). I didn't know what I wanted to do nor what to expect. But overall I wanted to be a Dark Knight/Thief because of the high damage they talked about in the book and /thief for treasure hunter and making money.

Over the years I've slowly leveled my dark knight here and there. Almost a year ago from now I played my dark knight in a static with my friends because I believe that my dark knight was too powerful for most tanks. Not to be boasting or anything but no tank was able to tank over nor hold yet, except for my real life friend Sarys. My static was him (pld), his girlfriend (smn), and me (drk). We took the jobs from level 40 to 50. Through all those levels we actually didn't have a refresh, so insted every other battle all three of us would craft drinks, lol. Sadly they quit and I didn't want to level my dark knight because I wanted positive exp, not negative exp. But completed the artifact armor and a couple of months ago I leveled it here and there and then duo (with my other character curing) with Decar's ninja and got level 60.

[I don't like to level dark knight like other people do. I prefer using great axe lv30~56 and subbing thf. Damage is so much better than Slice/Power Slash/Hard Slash or whatever people used. My souleater+sneak attack+sturmwind damage was doing 400~800 damage. Since I merited 4 axe skill I was able to learn Rampage at level 54 insted of 56. So when I was able to use it, I was drk/nin only. I would spit out 400~600+ damage per ws (non buffed) and fully buffed I would do 1000+ and max a little over 1200.]

So that brings us to the present. Right now I have two duo's going on which don't go on that much so I mostly don't do anything, which is probably why I pulled out my dark knight gear and tried to level. Tried to do some campaign battles to past time but I would only gain 600-900 exp per fight. Got some parties but for the first couple of ones I had to sub ninja because I knew that they wouldn't be able to hold the hate over me, nor I had nobody in the party that I could sneak/trick attack. It's fine though, I actually like rampaging.

Yesterday, I was still figuring out which subs were good for dark knight so in the next party that I had I went /samurai. Nice to have hasso and meditate. The party that I had afterwards I decided to pick warrior sub. Nice sub but only thing was that I was fighting Colibri, which in my opinion suck for dark knight because we can't use spells.

Today, I actually got a party early and since I was almost 64 I went with /thief. Was fun to use. Got my level and switch to great sword because I have 3 great sword merits so I would be able to use Spinning Slash 2 levels early. Oh it was worth it. The weapon skill damage was from 600~1000+. I almost was able to get 66 from my parties today but we disbanded and then I had to go to work. But I'm glad that I am at least 5,000 exp from my level. Then when I get home I could some campaign battles and the next party would be my level buffer.

Right now I am still at work. I wish I was at home so I could continue playing dark knight. I'm not really sure how far I want to take it right now but of course I want to take it to 75. I think that I'm going to take it to 70 at least so I could lot relic body/gloves and then store it away.

June '08 Update

I can't wait for this update. I'm not sure to think that if making group 2 merits the same as group 1 merits is going to help or break the game. It's just going to be crazy. I don't know what to merit in my group 2 after this update. I'm still looking over it but still unsure. I really wished that I had samurai and dark knight at 75 to take advantage of. After a month of camping I finally was rewarded with my Yinyang Robe from Shikigami Weapon. We came back the next day and another robe dropped. Makes my record 4/12.

During my time at work I usually read on forums and at home I read linkshell chatter about people leveling up all the time. I'm still a little burned out from all the exp. That and the events that I do and the random NMs that I camp with my pet linkshell.

For awhile the pet linkshell was able to kill the shikigami weapon and keep the ToD for weeks. Unfortuently I saw 2 robes drop and they didn't go to me. Overall my linkshell got about 4 robes while I was active in the linkshell. At the moment I believe that only two (including myself) or more summoners need the robe, but we lost the ToD. Update: Two nights ago (5/21/08) I went to camp Shikigami Weapon. I didn't have the ToD but the linkshell killed it on Monday so I assumed from the popping time when the closest window would be. Waited around for about 30-40min then it popped, we got claim but no drop.

Ugh.

Last night was terrible. Of course there were the same campers from last night there. It popped on the second floor which was good since there wasn't any of their people there but our mage that was up there missed the magic aggro as it ran by. I was following it according to my widescan but I was NIN/BST, so I was waiting until someone else popped it. Well one of the other groups got it to pop and everyone tossed whatever ability they had to claim it. I tried to take out my weapons but it was claimed.

Rant on:
The group that claimed it was WHM WHM SMN RDM RDM BLU or something to the just of that. They had no tank and couldn't even hold the hate. My attempt to claim it with charm actually made me get hate, so time to time it would try to hit me. Overall, their fight took 15+ minutes only to get it down to 65%. I don't understand why they planned on coming as a mage to a magic aggroing zone. They were aggroing everything and just kept sleeping them.. even the NM! Eventually they were overwhelm and died. But they kept reraising and raising and trying again yet to die to the same reason they died last time. Finally we were able to take enough hate (through Counterstance + Boost) to make it turn yellow. Claimed, defeated it, no drop. What sucks right now is that window is open NOW and I'm here at work.

So ya, when I am not working at work I am reading blogs and post and making guides for myself about FFXI. I'm a little overwhelmed with my schedule. Work, assaults, dynamis, 21-24h NMs. Ya it's not a lot when you think about it but meh. I use to level a lot right after I hit 75 red mage. That was my turning point. But I don't have that much time to exp burn like I would like to. I'm 6 jobs away from getting a Maat's cap (I don't have a big desire to gain it, I just like to beat up the old man from time to time). 63sam 63drg 60drk 52blm 40pld 39brd. Samurai and Dragoon are both in duo-parties but the schedule between the other person and I aren't consistant. So I just sit online and do nothing because I can't level. I suppose I should break the groups so my disire to level can be forfilled.

That's pretty much has been going on with me in the last month. At the moment I am trying to level my dark knight to 63 so more of my gear is shared which means less muling.

This weekend was fun in the world of Vana'Diel. I recently joined an all pet linkshell which consisted of mostly beastmaster/summoners and a few puppetmasters and dragoons. In the previous weeks I have done the lesser sky gods with them. I think that I like this way better. There are less deaths for sure and even if so you don't have to fumble around with who to invite to replace that person because its either another beastmaster or summoner. So it just makes things interesting in that linkshell. It's nice to use my two jobs that I never thought that I would use for end game.

Last weekend in the pet linkshell was Kirins. I didn't doubt their ablity to defeat him just was wondering how smooth the fight goes. It was going to be an all Kirin week end with a total of 5. Woke up around 10am to gather in sky with the other 24+ members. I brought Jibrienne along with me on my ps3 to help raise people. Each Kirin took little over 40 minutes to defeat with maybe 3-8 deaths per round. Drops were good! I can't remember what they were exactly but on that day I believe that we were rewarded with 2 wlegs, 1-2 poles, and an osode.

I wake up again around 10am for another 2 Kirins. I asked the leader if I was able to use my trigger and he said that we would be able to use it if we had enough people/time. Again took that Kirin without any problems. I've noticed that summoner's new job ablity Elemental Siphon was really good because you would use it, recover mp, do some more blood pacts and then it's back up again. Believe that we got another pole and osode from the first Kirin but the second one dropped no abj. and no money making items (Raise III & Quake). We had defeat two Kirins and we still have time for another one. Finally I was going to be able to use my triggers that I've obtained from my previous sky linkshell. Of course on my trigger this turned out to be the worse Kirin that we faught. I guess that people weren't paying much attention when the first summon came around, Suzaku. It chainspelled and 3-4 summoners went down, so it was slow for us to kill the pets. Next was Genbu, then Byakko, and last Seiryu. Somewhere in between the white mage for the kiting party ate dirt twice and I had to join their party on my Jib with my ps3 controller. All in all we defeated him and got an osode and dryadic body. So now I have my Kirin's Osode!

To start I finally got 75 ninja from months of duoing from level 50. It was fun going through the levels and not worrying about looking for a party or having trouble not finding "this job" or "that job." Last Tuesday I capped my xp for ninja. I'm not really sure what to think about meriting ninja. It doesn't look that appealing to me. One day I was helping a friend in Castle Oztroja getting a coffer key and while I was there I might as well get a ninja testimony. Got the drop of course and fought maat. It was so easy, I love overkilling Maat. My Blade: Jin at the start of the match got him down to 51%! What I wanted to do was use the Opo-opo Necklace and get 100%, Jin, Tp wing, Jin and it would of skillchained and I know it would of put him in his place. But when I went in, I forgot that my necklace was still on my mule outside of the bcnm!! Oh well, I popped at least 10 Hi-Potions though before the match so it helped out after he Mijin.

Now that I'm done with that duo static, I am starting a new one. Samurai. Long awaiting for me to get 75 samurai. This group is going to be duo with another samurai. We started last night at 60 in the boyahda tree. We fought rabbits, crabs, and crawlers. Was so easy/fun just to spam weapon skills and make skillchains. Not sure how long the static is going to go on for but I would like to push it as far as I can. Right now we are both sam/war but I think next time I'm going to have my partner try out /dancer; that's going to be interesting. Also I use polearm over the great katana because I enjoy spamming penta-thrust (and I have 4 polearm merits). My partner's damage from the start was usually about half the damage I was doing until we leveled, then his damage started to kick in. I'm going to switch back to great katana soon after I finish out my 4 merits into the skill. I would get Tachi: Gekko two levels earlier and it's going to be great ^^!

Other than my exp, not much is going on. I still do my events and this weekend I'm going to some Kirins with an all pet linkshell; going to be interesting... lots of Courier Carrier and Diablos. I finally started to do some of the new missions for Jibrienne (my second character). I opened up 4 of the 9 maws today while waiting for a friend to finish out his quests to get his Scholar AF.

Scholar AF3 was pretty much easy, was just a BCNM against another Scholar. Fight went pretty smooth. Duoed it with his red mage. Only thing that sucked is when he would use that ability that made his spells AoE. But I didn't take a lot of damage from the spells unlike last night where I was fighting some black mage NM tonberry in the Den of Rancor. Now that NM was a pain. I HATE black mage mobs. Stupid AoE spells;; I should of looked up the info about him but I knew that I could take him. I tried to elemental seal silence but it failed, so I debuffed him with ninja but it didn't stop him from opening with aeroga III. Getting hit from that spell I would be at full life down to 100 hp with no shadows. So annoying. Also Den of Rancor is annoying place to camp stuff at because everything aggro and lack of space to camp. I couldn't run away from his spells so he just kept hitting me with aeroga III and blizzaga III. I was very close to dying though at the end when he blizzaga III me and killed Jibrienne. I still had reraise for her so I got up and martyr myself and cure 4 and divine seal cure 3 and whatever just to keep me alive until the NM died. Well I won and it dropped 3,000 gil and waterga III. Oh the fight was with Myinre (ninja) and Jibrienne (white mage) only.

Fought another NM while I was out in the Den. I forgot it's name but its the one that drops the Ugg. Necklace. No I'm not talking about the NM in Pso'Xja that drops the PENDANT. This necklace basicly reduces the amount of damage you take from Everyone's Grudge based on your tp %. During this time I had a friend with me that came as 69 Corsair/Ranger. So I got ninja's roll and fighter's roll and the fight was a breeze. The NM is a thief mob and he usually triple attacked but couldn't hit me. It dropped the necklace so, it's just another item I have that will sit in my mog storage as soon as I make room or buy another mannequin.

Oh I was orginally in Den of Rancor because I needed my 4th summoner test -.- I hate that Maat fight. It's like purely on luck. My second try I got him down to around 25% and he insta-casted Shiva and insta-diamond dusted me. I just want to get that genkei fight out of the way. Got my test but this next time I'm just going to go in and after my buffs I'm going to walk up to him and astral flow and run to the back to the BCNM. Hopefully in that time frame he wouldn't cast another avatar and use astral flow then have it chase after me. Oh someone also noted to me that I should build up on HP+ gear since I always die to his pet. So HOPEFULLY I will win this time...

General:

I haven't really had much of an urge to post anything in awhile. I do a lot of events but I still feel like I don't really play, so there isn't much for me to talk about... but I guess I can talk about some nonsense that is going through my head. I think that ever since I started to level my ninja in a duo it has taken me away from doing anything else in the game, because I don't want to mule gear for when I need to play the job. I was able to get rid of some seals and store some items where I could actually keep my ninja's gear/tools on my main character insted of trading it back and forth.

This is what my ffxi schedule looks like:
Monday - Nyzul Isle Assault.
Tuesday - EXP with ninja duo (just one level away from 75!!).
Wednesday - Sky (but lately I haven't been going to it because I work 7am Thursday).
Thursday - Dynamis then maybe exp ninja duo.
Friday - Sky events at night.
Saturday - Free day.
Sunday - Dynamis/Sky.

It won't be long until I am done with my ninja. Yesterday, I hit level 74 by doing campaign battles. I'm excited to find out what a level 75 ninja with my gear is going to be like. The damage that ninja does is just so random. Blade: Jin is fun but the damage is just always so random. I enjoy playing ninja though. It's something new for me.

I haven't decided what I am going to do next after I hit 75 ninja. I think that I might go out and farm some testimonies. I still need to fight the old man as summoner and ninja. After I am victorious, I think that I would start leveling my samurai. I always wanted to level samurai but just when I thought that the time was right. I only have a few items that would be missing for my samurai; such as, Hagun, Engetsuto, and maybe some of the lv70 jse.

Dynamis:
I think that I'm starting to get a little bored with dynamis. I think that you would too if you were in my situation. Everyone knows that I am an equipment whore. I have everything or at least try to. So much stuff I don't even know how I keep it all. Not sure how long I've been doing dynamis, probably 1.5 years. Over that time, I have accumlated 30 pieces of relic armor. Out of all armor, I only have ONE complete set, ranger. I would like to store some sets but I'm 3/5 or 4/5 and of course it's an outlands item which doesn't want to drop.

Sky:
Sky is doing alright. The schedule nights are usually Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday. Sometimes they change it up and have some other kind of event. They do their events later in the evening which was good when I started working. But now my hours are shifting so makes it hard to go to some events. There's only a couple items that I want from sky, but half the items I want are lifetime points.

Life outside FFXI:
I've been trying to find a house since my apartment lease ended in Feb. Found a place but now I'm dealing with complications. I am also busy trying to get a friend to move out here and they have never been out of state ^^;

An Update

So it has been awhile since I've updated so here I am writting. In the past couple of months a couple of good changes have happened. I got a new sky linkshell. Got some more job levels. Got the expansion, completed some quests/mission, and got 2 new jobs to play.

My new sky linkshell is alright, they still kind new at doing things but they still have experience behind him. We tried some Kirin's but sadly we failed a couple of times. Think that we were just lacking DD's. The linkshell is interesting though, they do sea and limbus and other events so it keeps me busy some nights... even though I don't have sea access.

For those that don't know, I have a second character. A friend of mine quit about a year or two ago and I took over her account. She stopped playing her when her white mage hit 60. I began taking her around with me to do random stuff, like escorts and skill up parties. Eventually I got to 65 through all of that. Then I started to make small merit parties (3 people or so) and took her with me. Weeks later, I got 75. That was my biggest goal of having that account. Now I would like to cap her exp, get her some merits, and maybe start bard and white mage.

In between the months of August and December I've been meriting for the first couple of months and then I've decided to get my level 50 jobs (dark knight, dragoon, samurai, ninja, black mage) to level 60. Been going well, almost half way done with that ^^. Most jobs I solo and heal myself with my second character while I look for a party. Ninja is my only job that I have a partner with. So I usually switch around when I feel like it.

Samurai (51-60)
I started out with Samurai and that was really fun. I had about 2-3 parties when I played. Since I didn't have a Soboro great katana, I just used polearm (since I also put 4 merits into polearm). It was great, I was actually doing about 300-500 more damage than using a great katana. I can't wait to take samurai to 75.

Dragoon (50-60)
Next was Dragoon. I duo'd to 57 with one of my good friends and then our work schedule's conflicted and then we went our own ways. I only got to play dragoon in one party vs lesser colibri. Thank god for high/super jump, because I was doing most damage. I got skewer at 58 and that was fun to use. At times it would do the same or just a bit more damage than penta thrust. Eventually I got to 60 and then I just muled off the gear and went back on Dark Knight.

Dark Knight (52-58)
Actually I started to level Dark Knight about a week before I did Dragoon. I got to 55 solo but was tough because as we all know, Dark Knight wasn't made to tank. Since I had axe merits from Warrior, I decided to go drk/nin with axes. Worked out really well. I had one party around 55-56 doing crabs in kuftal. With souleater and last resort I would be doing 900-1300 rampages. My average without the ablities were around 400-600Just the other day I went to Kuftal Tunnel to go trio (56-57 pt). We got two levels out of the night. Tonight (12/5/07) after work I'm probably going to head back to the tunnel and duo with a friend. My goal would be to get 59 at least tonight, then I can wear new armor :D

Ninja (51-54)
Of the return of a friend, I asked him if he still wanted to duo ninja (because in the past we trio'd from 40-51). He accepted, so on Monday night (12/3/07), we started in Quicksand Caves from the East Desert (lv51), after we leveled the xp started to drop. I searched the areas to find new duo areas but early 50s are just crap for duo areas. It's either a party is always in a camp or mobs are either too low or too high. End result, we decided to go to Crawlers Nest and fight rumble crawlers and dragonflys, which was great xp and very easy. We got to 53 and had to call it quits for the day. Last night, (12/4/07) we headed back to Crawlers Nest to get 54. After we leveled the rumble crawlers were dc-t and dragonflys were a bit weaker, so on Thursday when we go exp, we are going to go to Bostaunieux Oubliette.

Black Mage (52)
I don't know when I am going to start to leveling my black mage. I would like to but I don't really want to solo it. I also don't know if I should level scholar and start subbing it.

I still have bard (38) and paladin (38) to get to 60 as well. I've been doing a lot of research on paladin and I am really looking forward on the job.

I finally got rid of about half my Beastmen/Kindred Seals and added some more armor to my collection. I still have about 2 stacks of KS and 5-6 stacks of BS. But seems like no matter what I do I always attract more seals. Just from soloing I would get 5-7 BS/KS per level. Hopefully I get a lucky drop, I still would like to buy a Byrnie +1 and/or Haub +1, and a Serket Ring.

It sucked that the expansion was delayed because of an error on the box. I got my ps2 copy on the release day but unfortuently it won't work on the ps3!!! I called tech support about it and they said that I need to get an old version of the game and install the pol viewer that way and then try to use the copy of Vana'Diel Collection 08. That's just crap. I hope that sony is working on trying to get that fixed because trying to find an old ps2 copy of FFXI would be very hard to. Probably would have to look on ebay.
Got the PC copy the friday after thxgiving. Installation was quick and easy but registration was a bitch. It took about 5 days for me to even get an attempt to get it registered. After I did though, I went straight for the new area to check it out. My view of the expansion... so far it's very meh. Zones are too far to walk through, no chocobo's, not a lot of zones, not much for quests. Well at least I got all the maps of the areas, got up to date on the missions, and got the new jobs. I still haven't tried campaign but I need to soon, my sprinter's boots only have a few charges left on it.

Other than FFXI, I've been trying to find more games to play on my PS3 and Wii. I recently bought Assassin's Creed for PS3. It's a really fun game, I love wondering around doing w/e I feel like and defeating those that oppose me. Only thing that I don't like about that game is that alternative character. I don't see the point of him... yet. I'm not finished with the game but I'm on the like... last assassination or w/e. I stopped playing it due to the new Wii game that I got.
Which was Guitar Hero 3. A friend of mine bought it when our friend came out to visit. Then last weekend he said that he wanted to have a get together to play. So I went out looking for the game so more than one of us could play. It's a fun game, only thing that I don't like so much about it is that on the Wii, I believe that there is no downloadable content. =(

Finally did it. My goal about beastmaster was to get to 75 before I could finish externship. I finished 4 days late. Started on June 21st and finished on the morning of August 10th. I just need to gain a 15k buffer (at least) and then I could mule my beast gear away. Think that I might try The Boyahda Tree and farm.

I completed my 8th job to level 75 (WHM RDM MNK THF RNG SMN WAR BST). Next, I want to level either black mage or ninja, more leaning to black mage. But I think I'm going to take the time to level my second character and get her from 64 to 70 white mage so I may have access to raise 3. Shouldn't take long since I have a full anniversary ring with her.

Last sunday (7/22) we did Dynamis-Xarcabard. NMs went by swiftly but had some troubles at the "wall of death." We tried the Dynamis-Lord again but failed duo to some starting difficulties. Only the white mage gloves dropped.

This sunday (7/29) we planned on doing Dynamis-San D'oria but another linkshell went in one hour before we were expected to. So insted we went to Bastok. Smooth run but we had trouble after we passed the auction house and our puller died in the middle of the second alliance, so half of the alliance wipped due to about 3-6 mobs were free... two of them happened to be monks too ><. Drops: 2 Red Mage, 2 Dragoon, Samurai, Bard, Beastmaster (mine), and Paladin.

Beastmaster has been going well. As of 7/29/07 I am level 72. I'm so glad that I'm done with the Bhaflau Thickets camp because it was either empty or just over packed. Beastmaster, jobs subbing bst, and xp parties. Xp was really slow there, like 3k/hour and needing 30,000+ xp just seem like it would take forever but I just devoted myself to get through it as fast as I can. So now I'm going to take my trip up to sky so I may solo in peace.

Dynamis-Xarcabard WIN

I awoke around noon on Sunday and was asked to duo with another beastmaster. Since I haven't exp in the area they suggested, I took them up on the party. Was good, gained 11k xp. After the beastmaster had to leave I decided that I would attend dynamis to keep my points active. Once again they were going to try the Dynamis Lord, but the odds were looking better with 46~48 people. Bard pants and Black Mage hat dropped respectivly from the NMs. I'm not sure why they wanted to do this but they brought the Dynamis Lord to the "Dragon camp." For this attempted we heard from another ls to use more Rangers, use Dragoon's Angon, and use Thief's Feint. Well I guess it worked pretty good since we took him down very cleanly; no deaths and no tp moves used. Shadow Ring did drop and went to a friend of mine, so congratulations to you! Well at least my attendance was well rewarded for, still unsure when the next time I can attend dynamis.

Beastmaster Conquest

My time on FFXI has slowed down because of my externship. I work between 9am-9pm and get about 40-50 hours per week. I need a total of 240 hours to complete my externship. Because of this change, I have decided to take up Beastmaster again. So far it has been fun again and I only had 1 (3-4 since 7/21) death, not bad since I haven't played it in about a year.

This post is going to be about me leveling Beastmaster. I will update (edit this post only about my experience than making new posts) between now and the end of my externship, or til 75.

Lv60 - Uleguerand Range - I camped right by the first cave where there was 2 rabbits. Easy xp, just charmed rabbits outside of the cave and used the 2 rabbits at the cave to finish off the tigers. After I leveled up, most monsters started to con to even match.

Lv61 - The Boyahda Tree - I had different camps here depending on what the pets conned to me. Not bad of a camp, only had one death from mischarming a DC Funguar and whole room linked. I was going to stick around in the area when I hit 62 but there was a lot of T Mandragora and Rabbits, but I was amazed on how well Mandragora pets are.

Lv62 - Ifrit's Cauldron - Bats and Bees vs. Bombs. Camped at the east Yhoator Jungle. Easy xp and all I have to do is make sure the monsters around me are at even match or lower so I could rotate. I did try an Opo-opo pet, those are great. The last time I was xping, the whole tunnel was T, so I couldn't get one.

Lv63 - Ifrit's Cauldron/The Boyahda Tree - I stayed in Ifrit's Cauldron for about 10k before I left the area. Was able to make between 30-40k in gil from coffers though. I got tired of the bombs being decent challenge and even match, so I decided to make my way back to the boyahda tree. At the moment, (7/10/07) I am about 2k from 64, so I'm not sure where I will end up.

Lv64 - Caedarva Mire - After I got a 5k buffer from the tree, I decided that I would try the mire. I camp on the west exit from Nashmau. This exp was just too easy. Six pets in the area (4 Sapplings and 2 Leeches). 1 Leech would be able to kill 1 bird and with luck a sappling might be able to kill a bird; but carry zeta pet food just in case! When I started there was another beastmaster that showed up but regardless, I was still getting chain 4's. Another beastmaster did show up after the first one left and I was still getting chain 4's. So there wasn't much to worry about there. I got lucky and got a chain 5. Exp/hour was roughly at 5k/hour. Now I'm only at 3k >> 65 (which means I finally get to put use to my Opo-opo Crown!). I hope that I am able to stay in the mire to get a 5k-10k buffer before looking for another camp.

Lv65 - Caedarva Mire - After I hit 65 I decided just to stick around and deal with the xp. So I went from 5k/hour to 3k/hour. It was my day off today (Saturday 7/14) so I did my chores early today and played for the rest of the day. Now I just hit 66 and I doubt that this place would be good for exp anymore. I'm going to try to get a 3-5k buffer than I'm going to try Pso'Xja, since another beastmaster from my linkshell said that it was a good place.

Lv66 - Wajaom Woodlands/Pso'Xja - I logged on this morning (Sunday 7/15) and got an invite to duo in the Woodlands and since I've never exp'd there I took it. Wasn't bad duo but I don't think that I would like the area if I was just soloing there. We camped at (H-11) and it was Spider/Bee Vs. Puks. Overall 4k/hour and got a total of 11k exp. Now that I have my buffer I'm going to try out Pso'Xja. (Thursday 7/19) So I tried out Pso'Xja, but what my friend didn't tell me is that it's not all that great; because most of your time your converting pets so they are charmable. I did about 10k there and I left and went back to Wajaom Woodlands. I'm currently @3k >> 67 so hopefully this camp will get better.

Lv67 - Wajaom Woodlands - I went back to the puk camp at H-10 and H-11. Xp was much better since I hit 67. Spider are dc and em now so I have enough pets now, that and usually one spider can defeat the puk. Usual xp hour was 4k-5k.

Lv68 - Bhaflau Thickets - So far this camp is great. Camp at G-8 and it's EM Leeches vs T-VT Colibi's. I'm making briefly 5.5-6k/hour here and getting 250 to almost 400 xp per kill. So far I only got up to chain 3, but even on a chain 1, I recieved over 350 xp. The only thing that I don't like about this level is that I have to return my leeches back to their spawning location or I would have to repop them later on. (7/21/07)

Lv69 - Bhaflau Thickets/Caedarva Mire - I stayed in the same camp in the thickets, but one day I logged on and there were too many people solo so I went to Caedarva Mire and camped around the Karakuls. Same xp/hour just different set ups. Both camps suck when there is another beastmaster or someone soloing in the area.

Lv70-71 - Bhaflau Thickets/Caedarva Mire/Halvung - As I speak (7/24/07), I just hit 70 Beastmaster. I plan on saying in the same 2 previous camps until 72. I tried out the thickets with ninja sub and it was fun and easy, though xp was 3-4k/hour. I could not wait to get away from that camp though. Too many people lv68+ leveling there. Some nights I couldn't even get any xp which I was forced to log because lack of camps in all 3 areas that I tried. Finally I was able to hit lv72 and move away from there.

Lv72 - Ru'Aun Gardens/Bibiki Bay - I decided to just xp in sky because it would have camps all to myself and there are a lot of camps, but I had dynamis in less than 4 hours. So insted I went to Bibiki Bay to try it out. Wasn't that bad it's just that goblins use up a lot of mp (regen, 15; dia, 6; barfira, 12) and my Gaudy Harness just couldn't get mp back fast enough. After dynamis I went back up to sky, it's pretty easy. Just stay at the entrance and convert the pack of birds to EM and pull back pots to their spawning area.

Lv73 - Ru'Aun Gardens/Mount Zhayolm - I stayed in sky and continued to fight with bird pets against pots. Was decent and gaining about 3.5k/hour. After a couple of deaths from the pots with standing my rampages at the end, they finished me off with a -ga III or tier IV spell. I decided to try Mt. Z insted. Wasn't bad at all and I had auto-refresh, so it was great. I also did 10k of exp duoing in Bibiki Bay, that was great xp. I could keep my pet or use a tough pet and still get good exp, with chain 5's.

Lv74-75 Mount Zhayolm - I stayed in Mt. Z for the times that I solo'd, for the benifit for xp bonus and refresh from sanction. I camped around I-9 and I-10 and continued to use Crawlers vs. Crawlers and Fish. 3-4k/hour.

Long Time

Haven't posted in 3-4 months now... I need to get rid of my screen shots that I have taken over the months that been recording my progress. I'm not sure what I was doing back in March and what I was leveling so I'll try to sum it up. I took up Summoner and eventually got to 75, after I hit 70 I got parties slowly. I had the YinYang Robe NM's tod once so I got people together to try for it. We didn't claim it but the person who did died and we got it after that. Didn't drop it, I had my shot. Then I got around to meriting. Slowly I merited my axe from Ranger so eventually I would level Warrior, and I did. Currently I would like to level Black Mage or Ninja, but I would like to finish off some merits first.

     Wasn't a bad run, I actually tried out my Thief in dynamis. Was okay. Drops: Paladin hands, Red Mage feet, Ninja pants, Monk pants, Bard head, Warrior feet, Monk pants, and I suppose another Paladin hands drop that I didn't screen shot.

Sunday, March 25th - Dynamis Windurst
     Drops: Summoner pants, Beastmaster head, Beastmaster head, Black Mage hands, Samurai legs, Warrior head, Warrior head. Thief head also dropped. I got the Beastmaster and Thief head.

Thursday, March 29th - Dynamis Qufim
     Between the dynamis' our linkshell did Diabolos mission and we won, 1/1. I had now had access for Dynamis CoP, so I tried it out. It was mostly death there. Tulerin was able to come out with a Wyrm Belt for his dragoon making him 6/6.
     (Following the Diabolos mission success, I went with a group of black mage friends to fight Diabolos prime and to earn him as a summon. Afterwards I started to level my Summoner again.)

Saturday, March 31st - Sky Gods

Sunday, April 1st - Dynamis Xarcabard
     Started out with our person who kept our points put up a new sheet to look like we had no points. Haha. She got us. But no joke, that night, I became a proud owner of a Duelist's Chapeau. We didn't have anything drop til the "wall." Shortly after I was able to lot it, we all wiped. We recovered and farmed some more and some ninja gloves dropped.

Thursday, April 5th - Dynamis Bastok
     This was a crazy dynamis... as soon as we made our camp around the west side of the Auction House, the drops started coming in. Started out with a 100 piece, then a Samurai hands. 25 minutes later Bard hands and Monk feet drop. 5 minutes go by, Thief body. 4 minutes from then, Summoner hands. 10 minutes later, another Thief body. Another 10 minutes, Beastmaster body. 5 minutes go by, Red Mage hands. 14 minutes, Black Mage pants. Another 10 minutes, Summoner hands. We end about 30 minutes later but before we end, Paladin head drops.

(I've been screwed over on Summoner hands two times at this point. First time, the ls leader lots it for their other character; which they don't play. I told them I was leveling Summoner next, but they rather let it rot on a character they play on once a week, which doesn't make sense either because their main character is a 5/5? relic Summoner. Now this bid went for 60+ summoner and I lost.)[btw, I got 75SMN within the next week or so ]

Lastly was another Abyss Cape.

Sadly at the end of the month, my linkshell for sky disbanded. Not a lot of people were showing up anymore and we had about 5 Kirins to do that no one basicly wanted to show up for.

So during the month of May I have been leveling Warrior. I put 4 merits in Axe so I could get Rampage earlier. When I first got it was in the 600s, then when I was around 55-57 doing 700s occasionly breaking 800. 58-60 was 600-1,000. Was a good feeling to get rampage early and do 600-1,000 damage though. My max dmg I've done was 1500 on a VT Imp ^^. Highest Mistral Axe was in the 700s, and highest Decimation went into the 800s.

I've lost interest in doing dynamis. It was fun going with people I knew but those people no longer went so if I did go, it was about getting points or try for AF. I'm also waiting for more drops to circulate around so it would be 10 people lotting against one item. Maybe I'll join up more but right now I just like taking a break and catching up on other things.

Ever since the update, I've been waking up earlier and earlier for Adamantoise/Aspi to try to get my egg so I could obtain a black belt. Was suppose to get it on June 14th but the linkshell that claimed it gave the egg to an ls member and then lied to me about it.

Other news besides trying to get my black belt, my career (irl) might be taking off soon so if it does I probably be soloing on BLM or BST then. I'm still in the process of capping my weapons on Warrior and trying to cap my merits in STR and Magic.

June 21st - Dynamis Buburimu; They decided to try to fight Mandragora, Cockatrice, Rabbits and Efts today, so I wasn't going to get my Warrior's Stone. Drops: Bard Cape and Beastmaster -1 Gloves.

June 22nd, 10:40AM - Elemental Magic merits 3/8.

June 23rd, 12:29AM - Another night of camping Adamantoise; Day 4. Duckdude and Niwaar came out just after the first window. As the night went on 2 or 3 more parties came. Klvino showed up to get the time of death for their linkshell and I invited him to help me. Luckly I was the only one with the time of death. Popped on the 5th window, but it was Aspidochelone! I was so excited. DD called in his linkshell in to kill it. Took awhile but we took it down. Aspi's regen was insane though. Wyrm body dropped and of course I got the egg. Finally after 16 days of straight camping, it has paid off!

Would like to thank Wololo and Diane for helping me those 16 days ^^.

June 23rd - Got my Nue Fang from BCNM50. Took 3 tries. PLD/WAR MNK/WAR RDM/WHM. This fight wasn't all so bad. Have some hi-potions and Mulsums and it was easy. This enemy was a tiger, did normal tiger moves and had a claw cyclone type move (which did usually more dmg and knock back) and it did a stun. Said that you could enfeeble it but it was very resistfull. Blind, Bio II and Poison II were the only spells that usually landed. No one did the BCNM since the update so we had the record. On the second run we beat our record by 4 seconds, lol! Our third run we beat the record again.

June 24th, 11AM - Elemental Magic merits 4/8.

June 24th, 3:30PM - Got my Morbolger Vine! 2/3 for Brown Belt, then I could get my Black Belt. Seems to be the never ending conquest to get Estya her "morning star" club. We tried 4 runs today with an easy set up. 5 SMN's and 1 Orb user. We got 3 Morbolger Vines, O. Ingot, Cassie's Earring, 2 Evoker's Boots. Also had 2 Critical Great Katana's, 1 Critical Staff, and 1 Critical Katana. Still need that Critical Club to drop!

June 24th - Dynamis Beaucedine - THF RDM BLM WAR dropped. After this Dynamis I made a post in the forums saying that my time has been reduced so I wouldn't be able to attend most Dynamis'.

June 25th, 10:24AM - Deadly Dodo just droped Dodo skin, 1/4! That makes me 3/3 for Brown Belt and 3/3 for Black Belt, I'm returning to San D'oria to get my items and to get my belt! =D

June 26th, 12:54AM - Elemental Magic merits 5/8.

June 28th - I am now starting my externship to finish my schooling. Until I complete my 240 hours, I will be playing less FFXI and if I play, it would only be beastmaster.

Since we only have two Rangers in my sky linkshell and now it seems like they aren't showing up, I decided that I would level my throwing this week and try to get it to the cap (which is 220). By today (Thrusday), I was able to get to 190 (started at 106 on Monday). Kuftal Tunnel's crabs get iffy on skill around that level so I decided that I would try the higher level crabs in Cape Terrigan. I would have 5+ minute fights with crabs and pugils and getting little or no skill, so I left there and was going to the B-Tree.

Tuesday:
Didn't have a wide scanner and the only one we had came up as summoner. So because of his failure, I came up as Ranger. Only got Mother Globe and Faust. Our linkshell just camped Ullikummi but it didn't spawn while we were there.

Wednesday: Dynamis-Xarabard
Meh, I don't really like X-Bard that much when I'm in the Wed. dynamis, because I have a very low chance of even getting thief gloves. My white mage relic lotting still exists so that's what I had to try to lot on. I don't even have a relic from xbard yet. 4/5 Monk (missing Head), 3/5 Ranger (missing Body and Hands). Drops were really bad that night, for relic that is. Two 100 pieces did drop, then later that night a Beastmaster's relic gloves dropped. I always thought that in dynamis monk and beastmaster always dropped and rotted but yet I don't see it all so much, but when beastmaster relic does drop, we have other beastmaster that are higher above me so they get to have the item. Oh well.

Thursday:
Sky triggers didn't even happen today. People went up and everything was already cleared by RMT and DH. So they wanted try again 3 hours from our start time. Not many people showed up, so I believe that we got nothing again.

Saturday:
I figure from our triggers that there will be no sky gods. Doesn't matter, I'm not going to log on for it anyways.

Sunday: Dynamis-Beaucedine
Our linkshell decided to fight the larger statues for more enemies insted of farming Hydra's. Either or are fun imo. I decided to come as White Mage that night cause I didn't have sushi on me at the moment and I didn't want to mule more over. For Dynamis-Glacier, I have 3/5 Relic Armor(s); Monk, Thief, and Ranger. White and Red Mage are the last two that I could obtain for now but, probably would be awhile til I could get it. Over all, good drops: Summoner Body, Ninja Body, Warrior Legs, Bard Body, Ranger Feet.

This week I just completed my AF quests for Black Mage, Dragoon, and most of Dark Knight and Samurai. While doing AF1 Dragoon I saw that no one was camping the Dune Widow, so I decided that I would try it out. It popped about 20-30minutes of waiting, dropped Spider's Torque (400k) 1/1. There was a KS30 Manaburn run that was going on early Sunday. So I went with 3 orbs to try my luck. My first orb was the only lucky orb, got D Ingot and O Ingot, total of 1.2m. Surprizingly I have money now... well whenever the things sell. I don't really know what I want to spend the gil on. I'm drawing a blank on things to get besides of HQ Elemental Stave(s).

Wednesday: Dynamis-Beaucedine
This was our second run since last week was just terrible. The run was a bit smoother but the trouble the linkshells mostly has is everyone fights too close and AoE hits more people than it should. Drop: Thief Pants, Monk Body.

Saturday:
Woke up late for Gods. They did 2 Genbu's and Seiryu without me. I came up for the 2nd Seiryu though. After that we had Suzaku. After that the event was completed. Really short day.SAD FACE.Been hard trying to get triggers lately. Drop: 2 Venomous Claws, Seiryu Sword x2, Dryadic Head x2, Aqua Legs (no surprize there), Dryadic Hands (dot dot dot).

I've been trying to get khayreShaman's Cloak because she so desperately wants one, but there is this red mage taru that is always there and it's obvious that he doesn't need it. Everytime that I'm down there he is there or log on. So yeah, we didn't get the NM so they went to pop the Tungi NM. I left real quick before that because I just got a coffer key and found the coffer. I went back and got my Samurai and popped it for the pants then came back to kill Tungi NM. No drop.SADFACE. On that map there are two other NMs behind the doors. The mage one wasn't up nor would spawn after killing PH, but the WAR? was up. No drop either.MORESADFACE. So with little to do it was down to camp Ose or Diamond Daig and because double earth weather was in effect and we were near by, we decided to go with DD. Didn't take long to spawn after we killed the PH. This NM took awhile because of it's high defence but it was an easy fight. At least the Protecting Bangles are 100% drop so we were able to walk out with something from the NMs that we killed today, not to mention the 10~15k I got from them combined (w/ mug included). Congratulations to Khayre for Protecting Bangles!

I still had time left before my linkshell wanted to try for Divine Might, so we spent time at Ose. I think it took almost 2 hours for it to spawn and when it did a random party that just zoned in stole it -.-

Divine Might, here's my chance to finally beat it as I thought, but something went wrong. Unagihito was sick over the weekend and Sharm/Battra's connection went out due to their dog used the bathroom on their router. No RDM, SMN, WHM as we wanted to have. Overall we lost because our kiter for Mithra AA d/c RIGHT when I pulled and I was killed under 10-15 sec. Mithra then went lose basicly and killed everyone else. Full story.

Sunday: Dynamis-Xarabard
The event that I waited for all week, because it was my chance to get my own thief relic hands. Think that we had 40 people come; was a really good run and we cleared out a lot of enemies. We actually went back to Camp 1 and a bit further... before we wiped from the huge train. Drops: Red Mage Hat, Ranger Body, Black Mage Hat, White Mage Hands.

Don't remember if I said so and I'm to lazy to look, but I did get my 50 Samurai after last Sunday's Dynamis. Been thinking about leveling Black Mage to 60 now, but then again I want to merit. I finished off my last level of Spell Interuption Rate yesterday (Friday). I want to cap off Enfeebling Magic merits now, which is a total of 18 more. Then after magic merits I would do combat, which I would put 4 into axe and then start my Warrior conquest.

Wednesday: Dynamis-Beaucedine
One of the worst runs I've been to. No one was even listening anymore. After the Yagudo area where you run up the ramp to the Goblins, we were suppose run on the left side but someone was hugging the right wall and pulled a big aggro. We were able to kill them all with only 3-4 deaths but put us behind 10-20minutes. We were then on the Orc NMs. As dynamis people know, they do NOT attack Orc NMs. So we're on the Monk NM and it's sleeping during it's 2 hour. Schelf~ tries to mpk the mages by firing off some range attacks, luckly she missed. Then we were going to pull the boss for completion. The plan for that is pull the dragons far away and then attack the Eye. Well Schelf~ doesn't seem to like to pay attention. She attacks it right when she see's it. So the dragon weren't pulled very far when they decided to come back. Eventually they came back and we were MPK'd. Drops: Ninja Body, Red Mage Body, Ranger Feet.
Good drops but not the ones I wanted to drop. I can start lotting on white mage relic now so I hope that it would drop more. Since this run went so bad, our leader decided that we are doing Dynamis-Beaucedine next week insted of Dynamis-Xarcabard.

Thrusday: Sky Triggers
Before I got to sky another party within my linkshell was able to get Zipicana and Steam Cleaner. So when the offical run started we stayed at Ullikummi, but didn't get pull. Got Faust and Steam Cleaner.

Saturday: Sky Gods
We started out with 2 BB's. Then an Olla. We doing all the gods except Byakko and Kirin. Sucks cause the things I want are from there too. Plan on doing Genbu, 2-3 Seiryu and 2 Suzaku. ~~The time that Khayre didn't show up we're doing Suzaku~~. Nevermind, Khan-chan just contacted me... think that she is getting online now, lawlz. Drops: Aqua Head, Wyrm Feet, Aqua Legs, Seiryu Sword, Suzaku's Sute-Ate, Aqua Legs, Siren Hair, Suzaku's Sute-Ate, Aqua Legs, Suzaku's Scythe, Seiryu Sword, Dryadic Head, D. Cloth.

My parties for Dragoon were semi ok, even though it was a party full of melees and me on the outside curing the party. But, I was able to get 50 Dragoon. Done. Now I want 50 Samurai (45atm), then it's either that I find money and level Ninja or that I start my AF world tour with 5 jobs to do.

I was late for arriving at sky at the schedule time because I went to do some errands that were 2 months over due. Then I did some muling and crafting. So I got up there about 30 minutes after it started and ls then claimed that they were leaving. Freaking RMT's. A few members and I stuck around to see if we could get any triggers on our own. After an hour nothing spawned and we called it quits.

Wednesday: Dynamis-~~Beaucedine~~Bastok
Thought that my linkshell was going to do Glacier today but I guess they changed it at the last second for some of the newer members. So I was glad that they changed it because next week is Glacier and then I would be able to lot for White Mage. Only thing that I don't like about the linkshell is that people don't listen. I was talking to the officers through the night. Each alliance should have their own camp but no one can wait for a monster so they bum rush it. Then AoE hits 40 people insted of 18. It's stupid. We wiped because of people didn't listen and weren't paying attention. Drops were ok tonight: 100, DRK DRK (mine), SAM, SAM, BRD. BRD, RDM, MNK, SAM.

Thrusday: Sky Triggers
The linkshell got Steam Cleaner and Faust. Spend about 2 hours at Ulli competing against 2 RMT linkshells and 2 sky linkshells.

Saturday: Sky Gods
Gods cancelled due to no triggers this week. FUCK YOU SE. Do your job and remove RMT! It's not that hard to be able to tell who is RMT and who isn't. I already have a list of almost 100 RMT, all I had to do it look at there gear and check which area they are in at different time of the day.

So uh? we did Diabolos mission today. For an hour or so I wasn't sure if I wanted to come because I had this lag that would put behind 2-5 seconds. Before hand I was pling my Samurai in Crawlers Nest. Then my linkshell wanted to do the quest that would "weakend" Diabolos' nightmares. Afterwards I took a break and tried to fix my lag, but couldn't. Linkshell wanted me to come anyways. We did ENM, "Test you mite," before the mission. Won and got 3,000 xp for my Samurai (which level it) and got Geist Earring and Woodsman Ring. Diabolos was easier than I thought. Won. We stunned 2 Nightmares and got hit by 2.

Afterwards I went to do my escort before weekly conquest happened. That took about an hour cause of the people. When I was finishing up, Tulerin found Gration... UNCLAIMED. So he provoked it and waited for the linkshell to get there. After an hour and half our linkshell was able to get the kill and shield drop. LOL, free Gration, free shield!

Sunday: Dynamis-Jeuno
Yay, we didn't get bumped. We actually cleanned out the entire area and then repopped some, and did the boss afterwards. The Jeuno pop near the AH after completion is just so painful, I don't know if there is any other painful pull. 4 Statues, so that's like what. 3-4 goblin pop each? I only had one experience where we had about 1-3 deaths from it. We took care of the WHMs first and then after that our leader told us to kill whatever we could. I saw the SMN and no one was killing it, so I thought that I would try to kill it before it wakes up and astral flows everyone. Ran up to it, pulled out my weapon, Hundred Fists. Great, sushi just wore. Oh and I also forgot my MNK AF Body so I didn't have my 399 Chakra. This goblin had more hit points than I expected. Much tougher than I thought, was getting hit for 100-200+. Almost died though, got down to 80HP, before I got 1 CureIV, and 3 CureV. I was able to defeat it though. Drops: Ninja Feet, Red Mage Legs, Samurai Feet, Black Mage Feet, Ranger Head, Samurai Feet. Oh I also took a Eagle Eye Shot for the first time to the face! 1302 dmg.

Sometime last week I decided to just to level my black mage, so I did and got it to 51. Muled off my black mage gear and got my Dragoon gear. I want that AF so bad. So I'm going to try to get to 50 so I could start my AF quest, then I'll mule that gear off and level Samurai and Ninja to 50.

Tuesday: Small trigger days now. We were only able to claim Zip and Mother Globe.

Wednesday: Dynamis-Jeuno: First week of my two week no lotting, because I changed my lotting choice to White Mage. Drops: RNG (but person d/c and lost item), DRK, NIN, DRG, DRG, WHM, WHM, WAR, WAR, RDM, RDM.

Thrusday: Dementia was up in sky early so she noticed that Ulli wasn't killed of camp. So we had our day doing that. Claimed it, killed it. We thought that the RMT have got the other triggers but I guess they weren't that good at trying to get Steam Cleaner, so we were able to get it.

Saturday: I noticed that two other people had more points than myself, so I was worried to see if I was going to get my Haidate. We planned on doing Genbu, Seiryu, Byakko, Kirin and a free Kirin (that someone offered in exchange for W. Legs). They didn't show up so it was a short day. Drops: Genbu's Kabuto, Aqua Hands, Seiryu's Sword, Dryadic Head, Byakko's Axe, Neptual Feet, Earthen Hands, Dryadic Body. As you can see, no BYAKKO HAIDATE. SAD FACE! The last 3-4 weeks I've been trying to get it and this time no one out lotted me but didn't drop.

Got done around noon, I then decided to level dragoon while playing Fire Emblem on Gamecube. I had a blind invite and I took it. Was from a Dragoon and the other member was ther ewas a Dragoon. So the party already had three Dragoon's in it. lol. PLD DRG DRG DRG RDM BLM. We go to the west desert and kill beetles there. It was alright, chaining them decently but the people in the party didn't really know what they were doing. None of them had experience. Pld: was ok, he knew what he was doing. Drg: Loldrg. Rdm: Didn't pay attention that much and so dispel and refresh was misdirected at times. Blm: meh over nuked at times. Pld had to leave, leader for war/nin. Drg d/c so they got a nin. A ninja that I couldn't stand (I won't say whom cause some people know them). Anyways the ninja left within the hour cause they are jealous prick about anything that doesn't go there way. Blm left too. Leader then replace with another war/nin and drg. We wanted to find a new camp because this one wasn't doing it anymore. Quicksands and Garlaige was taken, so I suggest that we do Cockatrice at Lab. of Onzozo. One war d/c he probably just gave up on the party. Then we got a whm. PT: War/nin drg drg drg rdm whm. Was ok but I was doing all the work. Rdm and whm just totally sucked. Rdm: Cast dispel and silence on Cockatrice!? Whm: Didn't Silena or Stona. They were just chatting the whole time. Sad fact is that I'm probably going to be stuck with them again.

ZM4: Our linkshell, IMT, got together to do ZM to get two members to sky before they try to do Divine Might. Since Jibrienne never did ZM I thought that I could get her sky as well. Completed ZM4 with ease. Hopefully by the end of the week we would be on ZM8.

Sunday: Woke up at 11 today and I'm waiting for Dynamis. Don't even know if we are going to have one cause of the super bowl.

Pretty weak week. Tuesday there wasn't much sky farming going on.

Wednesday for dynamis, they did CoP, because all the cities were taken.

Thursday I went with my other dynamis linkshell to do Jeuno. Drops: Ninja Boots, Warrior Gloves, Thief Boots, Dark Knight Legs. Since I was doing dynamis, the sky linkshell was up trying to get more triggers. They were able to get Steam Cleaner and Ulli.

Here I waited for Saturday to come to see if I was going to get my Byakko Haidate or not. Well, I was not. One person outlotted me. But in the end they used up there points to get a Kirin's Osode, so I believe that I lead the points for Haidate. Didn't do many gods; Seiryu, Byakko, Despot, Seiryu, Kirin. Dynamis-Glacier; was able to come as Monk so that's always fun. Was even funner when I Asuran Fists on a monk NM at start. I was dead fast. We went for completion tonight. No drops tonight. My first dynamis with no relic armor. SAD FACE.

Good news was that I finished off my WSNM latents and I also capped my evasion for my Thief. I also finished off all the quest for my NPC and got her to level 58! Woot! Only 7 more to go. I plan to going up to the tree and doing the level there to get the max exp. Also I think that I'm going up there was Thief just so I gain exp for myself. Oh my other character, Jibrienne, finally got level 61! Yay, I plan to level her soon that way I could have raise III where-ever. But I still need to find the expansion for her.

Salvage

So tonight I did my first Salvage. It's very boring at the start but it gets better when you start to unlock stuff. I went as White Mage tonight but should of gone as Monk. This week we had too many mages so we mostly stood around. We got close to wiping actually. On one of the monsters that drop the MP item the melee started to wipe because of the AoE and was dropped to 3% HP when all the melee died. But with no magic and no melee we finally got killed it and got an mp item. I got it but I had to wait like 5-10min just for it to drop and then I had to raise people because their reraise was dispelled.

Not sure what I want from Salvage so I'm making this post on the items. In a way I don't want the armor just because its expensive to get. For a full set of armor you would need: 12 Orichalcum Ingot, 12 Imperial Wootz Ingot, 12 Bloodwood Lumber, 12 Wamoura Cloth, and 12 Marid Leather, also a payment of 10 Imperial Gold Pieces. I don't mind the Imperial Coins because I have 130,385 IS. When I run out of IS I could start to merit. I have 5 jobs waiting for me to cap out on. But the other items needed to make the completed item just get costly. I don't make much gil in the game so I don't know how thats going to work.

Possibly the feet. For Ranger: Maybe Legs.

Usukane Armor Set (MNK.SAM.NIN.PUP)
Maybe: Legs and Feet.

Marduk Jubbah Set (WHM.BRD.SMN)
For SMN: Legs and Feet. Other jobs: Don't care that much.

Morrigan's Attire Set (BLM.RDM.BLU)
All, they are that great.

I don't think that I will be doing much Salvage, It's ok but there's really nothing for me to get from it besides Ares and Morrigan's armor. Besides I went broke last weekend so I don't have money to spend on Reraise items, nor the Assault points that would be needed.
